With a brand of motivation that encourages participants to believe in all they CAN do, Danny Haralson has taught thousands to run, first in steps, then mile by mile.
But it isn’t just the running skills participants will tell you they learned: “After my first 5k I remember thinking that I’d never before run 3 miles on purpose. That 5k became a 10k, and later, half marathons. Along the miles I made some dear friends and learned a great deal about myself. If I had gone through most of my life thinking I couldn’t run, and it turns out I can, and that I actually like it—what else can I do?” said one Running 101 participant.
If I can run a 5K, what more can I do in business? In life?!
Danny brings humor, enthusiasm, and a tireless belief in the potential of each person to speaking engagements around the state (and beyond). Danny has spoken to groups including the Rotary and Kiwanis Clubs, Alabama Dietetic Association, Shades Mountain Baptish Church, St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Make-A-Wish (Georgia-Alabama chapter), Greater Birmingham Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, Alabama Baptists, and many more.
He has spoken for The Bell Center, Make A Wish, Joints in Motion, and Mitchell’s Place while helping these organizations raise hundreds of thousands of dollars.
His message is one of encouragement and self empowerment through process, one day at a time – one step at a time. “No one trips over a mountain, if you step over enough pebbles one day you’ll find yourself on the other side of the mountain.”
It’s a message that inspires individuals, that helps manager’s manage and sales people understand that their future, their potential is within their grasp. His talk on Goal Setting and Achieving is one not to be missed.
Danny’s humor and poignancy brings a message that is enjoyable, thought provoking, fun, and most importantly – actionable.
