There is a <em>lot of power <\/em>in the &#8216;group&#8217;. You&#8217;ll have the most experienced coaches in the region, the most successful plan in the South (thousands, literally in the last 15 years received their start in running through Run University) <em>and <\/em>it&#8217;s fun. You&#8217;ll learn about nutrition, shoes, clothing, technique and the mental &#8216;side&#8217; of running through a variety of seminars and meetings as well learning to run at your <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">own<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">pace<\/span> . No pressure, but a lot of laughs and success as you achieve goal after goal on your way to getting leaner and conquering the 5K. After that&#8230;who knows? The possibilities are endless.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s kind of fun to take a peek at how great you <em>can<\/em> be; to see the possibilities under your &#8216;hood&#8217;.<em> On January 2 you&#8217;ll have the first page in a blank book of 365 pages. Let&#8217;s write that book with you as the hero of your own story.<\/em> The cost is still $49 for the 7 week program. Group runs are scheduled early mornings. Wednesday mid-mornings, and evenings as well as a Saturday morning run; so something for every schedule.<\/p>\n<p><em>Big things come from small beginnings<\/em> and we start with a very do-able beginning and build at your own pace. There&#8217;s a reason we&#8217;ve been so successful over the years and it&#8217;s because of knowledge, experience, and understanding. Register or learn more at www.commitmentday.com<\/p>\n<p>Also for the final 6 weeks leading into Mercedes Weekend, Run University is offering <em>FREE<\/em> group speed work to help people achieve their goals, whether it be to get faster, stronger or do something different. The first session will be Wednesday Jan 6 at 6:00 pm Mt Brook Village (corner of Culver &amp; Canterbury) usually lasting 30 &#8211; 45 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Our annual Run Camp (a 4 day 3 night runners retreat in the Smoky Mountains) will be April 7 &#8211; 10 this year. Last year sold at the last minute &#8211; don&#8217;t wait until then!
