January 2, 9:00 a.m. corner of Montevallo and Culver Road (in front of Mt Brook Western) we’ll begin our Winter Edition of ‘Couch to 5K’ for those looking to begin a running program, learn to run or start again. There is a lot of power in the ‘group’. You’ll have the most experienced coaches in the region, the most successful plan in the South (thousands, literally in the last 15 years received their start in running through Run University) and it’s fun. You’ll learn about nutrition, shoes, clothing, technique and the mental ‘side’ of running through a variety of seminars and meetings as well learning to run at your own pace . No pressure, but a lot of laughs and success as you achieve goal after goal on your way to getting leaner and conquering the 5K. After that…who knows? The possibilities are endless.
It’s kind of fun to take a peek at how great you can be; to see the possibilities under your ‘hood’. On January 2 you’ll have the first page in a blank book of 365 pages. Let’s write that book with you as the hero of your own story. The cost is still $49 for the 7 week program. Group runs are scheduled early mornings. Wednesday mid-mornings, and evenings as well as a Saturday morning run; so something for every schedule.
Big things come from small beginnings and we start with a very do-able beginning and build at your own pace. There’s a reason we’ve been so successful over the years and it’s because of knowledge, experience, and understanding. From every shape, size and age imaginable – you have the chance to create a new beginning January 2. Why not? Why not you?
