Run University offers a variety of training programs, including the popular "Couch to 5k" and "Couch to 10k" programs, along with personal and speed training. The Run University approach teaches you to adapt to running gradually and gives you the tools to do so, successfully. With each new distance, you learn you can do things you never thought possible.
The confidence grows each day, each week as you slowly, but consistently conquer ne w territory by going further and getting stronger until instead of why not me; you declare proudly – Yes, ME!
Run University is led by Coach Danny Haralson, an RRCA (Road Runner Clubs of America)-Certified Coach and an AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) Certified Personal Trainer. His Running 101 (Couch to 5k/10k) program is designed to for those who are new to running or returning to running--no matter the age, ability, prior experience, or speed. Danny has trained thousands of runners and turned non-runners into athletes.
With the Couch to 5k/10k Program, you’ll gradually build up to a goal 5k (3.1 mile) or 10k (6.2 mile) race! The program includes the following:
• RRCA-Certified Coach and Certified Personal Trainer
• Couch to 5k/10k Training Plan/Schedule
• 3 organized group runs per week
• Regular motivational emails
• Tips on stretching, what to wear, preventing injury, and preparation

Training for Speed, Form, Efficiency or Endurance
Danny’s Fast Trax Program is for the athlete who has been running for a minimum of 1 year who is interested in running stronger, setting PR’s, of perhaps qualifying for Boston. These goals may be accomplished through a custom-designed schedule including but not limited to, track work, hill work, tempo or pace runs depending on (and designed for) the specific goal. There's no charge for initial meetingand assessment; thereafter rates begin at $150.00 month.
Run University also offers personal training appointments for beginners as well as PR's (personal best), Boston Qualifiers, and Personal Training ('round' is NOT a shape!). Lose weight, get lean, and get in shape physically and cardio-wise with Danny or Micki.
